X-ray based 3D reconstruction of 3 different biomaterials

IMOSAR is a technical platform focused on X-ray multi-scale imaging derived from the osteoarticular Federal Structure of Research of the Medicine Faculty of the Paris Diderot University. It was created to optimize, develop and transfer to the community the technological expertise of two research units : the B3OA (UMR CNRS 7052 INSERM U1271) and the Bioscar (INSERM U1132 ) research laboratories dedicated to osteoarticular research.

Its founding principle is to bring together X-ray imaging equipments within a single structure. IMOSAR combines imaging tools for preclinical research on small animals, for human clinics, and for anatomical parts or materials.

These imaging methods allow the development of biomarkers that are quantitative tools whose purpose is to follow the structural changes of normal and pathological osteo-articular tissues. IMOSAR is open primarily to teams from the PRES Sorbonne Paris Cité, academic teams outside the PRES and the industrial community.
