Osteoporotic fractures of the proximal femur (PF) are a public health problem in terms of human and financial costs. At the B3OA, we strive to understand and measure the predictors of PF fracture from images obtained with a clinical scanner and with the help of software development and finite element analyzes.

We are also interested in the pelvic and thigh muscles properties, in term of trophicity and fatty infiltration, and their relationship to osteoporotic PF fracture.
