The B3OA laboratory seeks highly motivated post-doctoral candidates to develop funding proposals for submission to the China Scholarship Council post-doctoral program in the field of skeletal and intervertebral disc tissue engineering, osteo-articular imaging, or physical exercise impact on bone status and reparation. The University of Paris has signed a specific partnership agreement to welcome Chinese candidates for a period of 24 months to complete a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Paris. In this context, the B3OA laboratory from the University of Paris seeks highly motivated post-doctoral candidates to develop funding proposals in skeletal and intervertebral disc tissue engineering, osteo-articular imaging, or physical exercise impact on bone status and reparation for submission to the China Scholarship Council post-doctoral program.

Funding proposals in skeletal and intervertebral disc tissue engineering

Required education, knowledge, skills and abilities of the post-doctoral fellow

  • A Ph.D in molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry.
  • Previous experience in basic molecular and cellular biology methods including DNA and RNA isolation, construct engineering, tissue culture and preparation and analysis of samples through flow cytometry.
  • The candidate is also expected to be self-motivated, creative and capable of contributing productively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and oral English are essential.

Preferred education, knowledge, skills and abilities of the post-doctoral fellow

  • • Preferred laboratory methodologies include advanced knowledge in enzymology or hydrogel synthesis.
  • • Previous experience with biochemistry techniques including Western blots and immuno-precipitations among others.
  • • Specific knowledge in mesenchymal stem cell biology.

The B3OA Lab is affiliated to the CNRS, INSERM and Paris University. Its research activities focus on innovative strategies for the diagnosis, surgical treatment and rehabilitation of patients with osteoarticular disorders resulting from trauma or degenerative diseases.
